In the Spring of 2006 I went to Tuscany to study Plein Air Paintings with Jack Broderick. (See jackbroderick.com) It was my first trip abroad and I couldn't have picked a lovlier place to go.

In June of 2007 I went back to Tuscany, this time with my friend and mentor, Shauna Shane, for another Plein Air Workshop. (See shaunashane.com) This time I brought my pastels.

If the urge to visit Tuscany ever overwhelms you – as it did me, I suggest you contact my friends in New York at ilchiostro.com. They have workshops for everything from painting and digital photography to Tuscan cooking and Carbaret. Workshops are held in Venice, others Rome and of course, Vagliagli, Tuscany.
